King Henry V, the hero of the battle of Agincourt, founded Syon Abbey in 1415.
The famous Abbey was built on the banks of the Thames and was the home of the Bridgettine Sisters
of the Order of the Most Holy Saviour, established by Saint Bridget of Sweden in 1378.
They are the only English religious community to have survived the Reformation and have
faithfully continued to sing and recite their unique daily prayers to this day, namely the
DAILY OFFICE OF OUR LADY.
